Newbie Experience

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

UPON ARRIVAL

WATER! WATER! WATER!

Most of our classes are based in a warm environment, so expect to sweat….so to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible please stay hydrated during the day.

FUEL!
Just don’t overeat prior to a class, if you a hungry have something nourishing and light prior to the class.

CLOTHING
Wear something you are comfortable in that will allow you to move freely…EXPECT TO SWEAT to ensure all clothing is clean and refreshing to ensure everyone including yourself has an amazing experience.

CLEANLINESS + HYGIENE
Personal hygiene is an important component, we recommend shower prior to arriving if that’s an option, wear fresh clothes, deodorant will ensure everyone smiles, wash hands and sanitise hand prior to entering, most classes are done barefoot or in socks so a fresh pair of socks is always makes the toes tingle.

WHAT TO BRING
Bring a drink bottle, towel and feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you have one, if not, not a worry at all we will provide you with one,

BOOKING YOUR CLASS
Please book in your class prior to your arrival, this allows your teacher to further personalise and prepare for your experience.

ON ARRIVAL

ARRIVAL – COME IN AN RELAX!
Come in early 10-15 min prior to your class, Help yourself to some tea or  infused water, make yourself at home and take some extra time to  relax, stretch, journal, chat to your community or just lay there in your own space and enjoy some me time.

CHECK IN
Your teacher will be waiting, if it your first time please introduce yourself to your teacher and share with us bit about you so we can ensure we can look after you as best as we can.

DURING THE CLASS

CLASS STYLES
Each class is different, some classes have been created to allow you to sweat and work hard whilst other classes are an invitation for you to let go, zen and recover. Every class is designed to ensure you are comfortable and challenged to the best of your abilities as individuals. This is your safe space, so we invite to focus on improving and to continually progress in your self-growth journey every single class.

TIME TO LEAVE FOR NOW

CLASS COMPLETION
After you complete your class, there is no need to rush off we encourage you to take a moment to reflect, go for a walk, do some journaling and just breath. Set your intention for the day or night and allow the energy of your class to resemble your day.

FOOD FUEL
If you feel hungry eat, ensure you feed your body with a balanced amount of protein, carbs and fats and don’t forget your veggies. If you need any additional help with your nutrition you can always reach out to one of our nutrition coaches.

RECOVERY
There is no doubt you may feel sore, our number one piece of advice to you to keep moving. Go for a walk, swim or do another class (just go easier) you will notice the more often you come to Soul Strength the quicker you will recover.

DOING YOUR NEXT CLASS
Its important to ensure you have a plan, a structure, review your week, see what days and times you can commit to doing classes and create a habit a routine. Remember your mind is designed to ensure you always take the easiest path possible, some days you may feel tired, and it may be easier go home, sit down on the couch and watch Netflix. But don’t let that be you. To create change, you need to change…just remember how strong, empowered, energised, happy and fulfilled you feel after each and every class. Lets’ make it happen.
